A quiet corner of Marin that the fog remembers
Haypress Campground sits on the bluffs above the Golden Gate, where the old military roads of Fort Barry still wind through coast live oak and Monterey cypress. It is not a resort. It is not a hotel. It is a place โ simple, open, and honest โ where you sleep under the same sky that sailors and soldiers have watched for over a century.
Set within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, our campground offers a rare combination: the solitude of coastal woodland and the convenience of just minutes from Sausalito and the San Francisco ferry.
